Google Chrome, Official Google Web Browsers

The last few days, the land of the internet is all over chit-chating about google new officially browser the Google Chrome, it-bit a lot of opinion regarding on this new browser from Google, like always the non-pro's of google world domination hesitate of it user-privacy regarding of the data-mining that google would do for their new weapon of world series domination hehehe..., never sure about that, cause it will be release as an open source they says...

But after reading throught to it first officially pre-announcement press release, a 40 page of tell-told comic (the best "browser" comic that matt cutts ever read he says..., funny lol :)) I suppose it will be a super duper browser cause the potential that it will evolve to, and the basic thing that google had put on to..., this is a part of spit of spot that google guys talking on googleblog that I'm sure I'm going to love this browser:

"On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn't the browser that matters. It's only a tool to run the important stuff -- the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Under the hood, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today's complex web applications much better. By keeping each tab in an isolated "sandbox", we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren't even possible in today's browsers."

The Google Chrome guys will do a webcast Tuesday, September 2, 2008 11:00 a.m. Pacific/2:00 p.m. Eastern, just head over here: Google Chrome Anouncement.

Just hope for the best...

Update : The announcement is live, chrome cool stuff is reveal, just head to the webcast, you can download the Chrome or install directly here : install Chrome

Google chrome is a decent browser for just a beta, and although it isn't up to par with the other more prominant browsers, it has a long way to go. However, at the moment it really isn't all that great.

Speaking of which here is a review of google chrome with firefox 3.

    Google Chrome vs Firefox 3
